CPRE the countryside charity
I created the concept and copy for a direct mail fundraising appeal for CPRE The countryside charity.
The Direct Marketing team wanted to engage the charity’s audience in its work on climate change mitigation, specifically related to planting hedgerows. This would be the first time many supporters had heard about this side of CPRE’s work, so the content needed to be clear and relatable.
I worked together with a freelance designer to create five concepts and develop the chosen idea - hedgerows as the first line of defence in the fight against climate change. I then wrote the copy for the appeal, in line with CPRE’s verbal brand and tone of voice guidelines.
The mailing has now landed on doormats across England and will raise vital funds for CPRE’s research into how the countryside can help combat climate change.
